Understanding Minor Consent and Confidentiality in Colorado, February 21, 2012

Back by popular demand! The Colorado Association for School-Based Health Care presents a training on minor consent laws and confidentiality issues for adolescents in Colorado. Rebecca Gudeman, JD, MPA, from the National Center for Youth Law will be the featured speaker. Additional topics will include intersections of HIPAA and FERPA in school-based health centers and child abuse reporting laws. Participants will receive a copy of the Understanding Minor Consent and Confidentiality in Colorado Toolkit, a supplement to CASBHC's Adolescent Reproductive Health Toolkit. Location: The Conference Center at Adams 12 Five Star Schools, 1500 E. 128th Avenue, Thornton, CO  80241 Lunch will be provided.
