Recognizing Successes

in Centennial.

Cultural Incompetence, Implicit Bias, and Other Pitfalls in Working
with Diverse Populations. |
On May 6th and
7th, over 100 clinicians, school district employees and medical
administrators attended the annual CASBHC conference. Throughout
the course of two days, 35 speakers participated in the plenary
and 20 break-out sessions. Conference sponsors were Kaiser
Permanente, All Kids Covered (Colorado Coalition for the
Medically Underserved), The Colorado Trust, Denver Health, The
Rocky Mountain Youth Clinics, Delta Dental of Colorado, COPIC
Insurance, and The Colorado Health Foundation.
