Project Overview

With support from the Colorado Health Foundation, the Colorado Association for School-Based Health Care will support 14 school-based health centers in seven communities on the Western Slope to identify children and adolescents impacted by ACEs and provide advanced training for clinicians to implement trauma-specific therapies known to increase resilience and reduce risk behaviors.

Project Outcomes

Screen middle and high school youths for ACEs and resilience with iPad application

Augment provider capacity to treat and build resilience in youth affected by trauma

Increase youth and community awareness about trauma
